HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Thursday met HE Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden, Margot Wallstrom.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Sweden, ways of boosting and developing them, as well as the developments in the regional arena.

HE the foreign minister briefed the Swedish foreign minister on all illegal measures taken by the siege countries against the State of Qatar, which resulted in severing family ties, impeding access to property, as well as the issue of hajj and umra, which witnessed difficulties during the recent period.

HE the minister stressed Qatar's commitment to resolving the Gulf crisis diplomatically and through the mediation of the fraternal State of Kuwait, and through mutual dialogue in the light of respect for international law, sovereignty and without dictations.
