Stockholm, Sweden - In a move that strengthens bilateral ties between the two countries, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, arrived in the Swedish capital Stockholm on an official visit. His Highness is accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation on a visit aimed at opening new horizons for joint cooperation in many vital sectors.

The visit included high-level diplomatic meetings, with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson hosting an official dinner in honor of His Highness the Emir. The banquet was attended by Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, as well as a number of ministers, senior officials, and owners of major Swedish companies, underscoring the importance Sweden attaches to this visit.
