His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has officially received the hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup from the Russian President Vladimir Putin and FIFA President Gianu Infantino. The World Cup in Qatar 2022 will take a place for the first time in the world in winter between 21 November and 18 December 2022

Football fans will also enjoy the World Cup for the first time with an Arab flavour in Doha. His Highness also stated that the hosting of the next World Cup is in the name of all Arabs, not only the State of Qatar. HH the Amir also thanked President Putin and the Russian nation and congratulated them on the success of the World Cup in Moscow in 2018 by all
standards.
