Her Excellency, Lolwah R Al-Khater, visited Sweden on May 23 and 24 at the invitation of Her Excellency Diana Janssen, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. During the visit, she met with H.E. Tobias Billstrom, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Johan Froessel, Minister of Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade.

 

The discussions focused on aid cooperation, the reconstruction of Ukraine, challenges related to the war in Gaza, the latest developments in the Middle East, and the situation in Afghanistan. They also explored ways to enhance cooperation in the field of humanitarian aid. The Swedish side commended Qatar's efforts and stressed the importance of international donor support for Ukraine's reconstruction.
